The Alsipercha / Alupercha with Mobile Base Unit (MBU) is designed and tested in accordance with EN 795:2012 and ANSI/ASSE Z359.18-2017. It allows a wide range of operations with a risk of falling from height to be carried out in complete safety, and is particularly effective during the loading and unloading of lorries, for maintenance work in elevated positions and for maintenance in industrial areas.
It is a portable system that is easy to install and can be moved to a new position quickly, because nothing has to be anchored to the ground. The arrangement consists of a main anchor point — the Alsipercha or Alupercha — housed in a pole fixed to a Mobile Base Unit, which holds the whole system stable by means of a set of counterweights of 1,000 to 1,200 kg distributed evenly around the base.
Advantages
- Self-supporting system protecting users from falls during work at height (fall factor 0)
- Integrated energy-absorber device reducing the impact forces transmitted to the user and to the structure in the event of a fall
- Fully portable system, with small counterweights that make assembly, dismantling and relocation straightforward
- Up to 2 users connected at the same time
- Built-in level indicator and levelling feet correcting slopes of up to 10°
- Easy, intuitive assembly — installed or relocated in just a few minutes
- The user connects through a fall arrest device attached to the Alsipercha/Alupercha and to the harness
- Protection against falls from height during maintenance in industrial environments, loading and unloading lorries, maintenance work on trains and similar tasks
Applications
- Ideal during the loading and unloading of lorries, or for protecting workers during maintenance in industrial areas
- Highly versatile in use, giving a certified anchor point in practically any area where one is needed, thanks to how easily it is transported and repositioned
